Just noticed this in my sump.

Looks like a centipede about an inch and a half long.

Anyone know what it is, and if its a good thing, or a bad thing?

The red light dont help but it's more than likely a bristle worm.

They are good scavengers

Thanks. You guys are fast. Was afraid i would get a reply after he went into hiding.

I got him to strech back out aftet the grow light was off.

If they get really big, it's usually an indication you are over feeding them and they don't have enough predators in the tank.

Definitely a bristle worm and if you see one, you have much more. They are a good part of your CUC and eat left over food. Their population is dependent on your feeding.

And please don't touch it with your fingers. The bristles will stick in you like fiberglass and can hurt ;)
