red copepods?

they're extremely small, size of a grain of sand. they do seem to move slowly. they are a bright red when white flashlight is shined on them. coral are very happy, I only see them on glass

I've had copepods for a long time but they're always a white or clear color. are these the same copepods just fed?

It looks like normal coloration for tig copepods that can look red from feeding on certain phytoplanktons in the tank. I also notice the younger ones have a red tint before they turn white/transparent. These should be fine.

These were in my tank as well, which is why I thought those were possible. This was the microscope version of mine (no color microscope)

Here it is under the microscope; I would estimate I used 100x to 150x. I did not use the max 200x setting.

Movement wise it moved somewhat like a worm
