Red Cyano from Cyanoacrylate IC-Gel??

I've seen this twice now where bright red Cyano grows from the spot where I've put Cyanoacrylate IC-Gel.

Any Biochemist on here or anyone know if this is directly related, or just a coincidence.....

I get a fluorescent pinkish color in spots where cyanoacrylate previously was. In my case it doesn't seem like cyano but I'm curious as to the reason behind this as well.

at the spot where coralline algae is killed, a bright pink/orange fluorescence appears. you can achieve the same thing with some vinegar on a bit of coralline.
Has to do with the photosynthetic pigment machinery being taken apart and instead of phycoerythrin (pink) handing off that energy to Chlorophyll A, it just fluoresces a bright pink/orange.

It provided a good spot for it to attach. I don't think it is eating it.

Yeah probably that's all, but just interesting that it was ONLY there, and even on the rock around it, it didn't spread....

Kinda hard to see, but it ONLY grew on the joint of IC-Glu between the two rocks.



It's also dying back A LOT in the last 2 days, so if it keeps dying. I honestly don't need to really know anymore lolllll
