Before you go all nuclear try the more natural way with the dr Tim’s Cyano is a bacterial so this might just be a quick fix until you identify the problem.

is this safe for all marine life? Inverts, nems, crustaceans, fish, urchins?
Should be. I am pretty sure it is the same thing as chemiclean. Just remember that if you have 0 nitrate and/or elevated phosphate, the cyano can come back
