Red Drago pump

Hello everyone !
I bought Red Dragon pump to my new SPS tank.
can I connect it to reef factory smart socket ,that will be enable to turn it on/off ,with remote control ?
it will effect on the pump ?
The pump have its own controller

If it's controller saves your settings and you use a three prong smart socket, should be fine.

Turn on and off my Abyzz return with an Apex switch.
