Red Encrusting Macroalgae?

Does anyone know of a macroalgae species that's red and encrusts (maybe not the right word), preferably growing low and spreading horizontally ?

Can you elaborate on what you mean by “encrusts”?

Encrust probably isn't the right word. I meant growing on the rock and attaching, like freshwater java moss.

I’m not familiar with any that will grow to mimic java moss. But there’s quite a few that will grow in rock, they will just be more plant like and less like moss.

I’m actually looking for some macro, not trying to ID. But thanks for the suggestion, I’ll check it out

Red razor. I don’t know if it encrusts the rock but you can put it in crevasse or glue it. Dragons breath is also lovely.

It really can depend on your lighting and flow but I will list a few for you.

Botryocladia sp.
Haliptilon sp.
Laurencia sp.

Dragons breath can be very attractive but it’s also attractive to herbivores and omnivores.
