Red Eye Goniopora Growth Question

I placed this Goni on a rock in my tank. Question, will the coral continue to grow out onto the rock that I placed it on? If so, will it just continue spreading? My scape is basically just one entire continuously connected entity..

Yes, it will encrust the rock. Anything can spread, how long it takes is the question. This coral will likely take a long time to spread beyond the rock that it is on.

OK, thanks. I might consider moving it to its own little location, not touching anything else.

Hate to pester - but if it stays healthy and continues to grow, will it grow over dead spots that it already had on it?

I have these and the short tentacle Goni spreads faster than the long stem ones below. The dead can be reclaimed by new tissue. You can always place it on a tile.
