Red Favia - Growth or Damage?

I have had this Favia frag for about six months and it was done really well. But, just recently I started to notice the green appearing along the bottom edges. This is new and either is super awesome as it looks nice, or something might not be okay. Let me know your opinion.

Looks fine to me :) maybe the frag was not representative of the true colors of the colony and now that it is growing, it will start to show these colors.

That is what I'm hoping. It was just a glued frag when I got it. It has encrusted the plug and now growing down on to the rock. I already liked the dark red and pink eyes, but the addition of the green was a pleasant surprise.
 
I think you're good. On the edges, I think growth. That said, I've had quite a few corals change color in the first few months of being in my reef.
