Red firefish help!!

Hello everyone, I need some help. I have three firefish. One of them would pick fights with my coral beauty and the coral beauty beat him up really bad. So that firefish would always hide and always come out during feeding time. I fear the worst that he has died in my tank. I can't find him anywhere. I literally looked everyday. Spent two hours looking in the tank and around the outside of the tank. I fear that if I can't find him my water chemistry is going to take a s***. I need advice. I can't take my whole aquascape down. Is this something my hermits will take care of?

What's the size of your tank and how long has it been set up?
Firefish have a very low biomass. An established tank with hermits should be able to easily handle this biomass.
If you have a newly set up pico tank, the biological filter may not be able to handle it .

Your tank is fine. Your hermits probably ate the deceased firefish for a midnight snack.

I have 15 nassarius snails. Usually they are all over something if it dies

Keep in mind firefish are known to disapear for days at a time. There is still a possibity its alive.

+1 I had a firefish that disappeared for 2 weeks and one day popped out again. If it did die your tank should handle the bioload but don't give up yet!
