I am wanting to add a red fish to my tank. I already have a cherub angle, which somewhat abates a flame angle, and would like to avoid a flame hawk as I like inverts. My tank is 50 gallons.
Picture for interest.

An obvious one:
Why not try a red firefish? Or a Yasha Goby?

Geometric Hawkfish

Flame angel
Flame hawk
Red squirrel
Flame cardinal fish
Blood red shrimp

McCosker's flasher wrasse is red and very active. They are jumpers so a screen top is a must for they will carpet surf.

Thank you guys for all the suggestions.
I might end up going with the flame angle.

Those are good options. I will let you know what I decide.
