Red Flame Scallop Moving

Morning Reefers!

Today I look outside and I see rain but when I look inside I see an ocean

Question on my Red flame scallop. I have had him in the tank for about 2 months. He worked his way back to the back side of the tank. I could not see him. This morning he was at the front again.

My question is: when he moves he moves with force. I’m worried that he will once again want to move to the back but again with force. I’m thinking he might sift rocks as my rocks are stacked high.

Should this be a concern of mine? Should I remove him while I have the chance?

He’s cool looking now that I can see him but for how long and to what cost??

They will roam around until they find a spot they like. Any fish that could be bothering it?

Unfortunately they don’t really last long in our reefs. I’ve seen a few people with somewhat long term success but not many.

I just added a tang and a flame angel. He’s. ben hidding for a month. Today he popped out after 3 days of adding the new fish lol. So probably that.

It will move until its find a perfect spot of water flow that suit for it, mine stay same spot for months now, its slightly turn left or right from time to time but its foot already firmed to that spot, you might keep your eyes on your flames angel though, if the angel keep bothering the scallop, its probably gonna die cause of stresses.

That’s prob it. I moved the scallop in my refug.

I had an electric flame scallop, really liked him, was beautiful, he constantly did his 'sparky' think, moved around quite a bit, somehow moved to the read of a rock structure, then out of site, I can't see him anymore and that was months ago, can't reach him even if I could see him, would have really liked if he had stayed up front, if he died he would probably have been pulled apart by the crabs by now. Someday I might find the shell.
