red flatworms in sump, how to get rid of?

I added one 6 line to my 30g FT about 2 months ago. It eats the heck outta my flat worms but it can only manage not eradicate. My 6 line's a pretty large specimen with a reeeeeally fat piggy belly but no match for these worms. Flat worm exit worked well for me in the past and I'm going to do another dose this weekend since I'm not making much progress "naturally". For Flat room exit, I double the dose, 20% water change and 1 lb of rinsed carbon. I've used FE 3 times over the last 12 or so years using this method and it's never once killed anything but the worms. It kills them all too, I just forget to dip sometimes so they end up in here again.

I'd say praziquantel but i'd be scared of toxins from dying worms

I also have a million flatworms in the sump, and none observable in main tank. It's been like that for around a year. Pretty sure it is not a problem. Definitely not worth poisoning your system over.

I had a huge flatworm infestation(1000s)a couple months ago and ended up using flatworm exit treatment 3 times every 3 days .i bought a melanurus wrasses shortly after and haven’t seen one flatworm in my display This week I noticedi still have some flatworms in my refugium but I think I am just going to leave it be since I have wrasse in display , unless flatworms gets so thick it coarse issues with my cheato and I will just treat with exit again . I did not see any adverse effects with my corals when I treated 3 times i.

Just in case any of you wondering what I decided. Well! I left it alone. The reason is we use refuge for breeding copepods for fish food to go into display tank so why not let it be breeding ground for flatworms to feed my wrasses. Lol. As long as I don’t see it get out of control in there I am good.
