Hey guys,
I got a small piece of red grape tree from my lfs not too long ago. In just a month or two it has easily tripled in size or more. I was curious if anyone knows how beneficial these are. People say chaeto and mangrove are particularly good at nutrient removal. This one grows so fast I figure it must be decent. And its super nice looking. Quickly became one of my favorites. :)

I really love that. Is that your display? Looks a lot like my local natural scape looks here in the southern Tampa Bay area....very realistic and probably very healthy. Nice work!

It is my fuge. But its a 30g stand alone right beside my 40b display. So you could call it a macro display. :-) thanks:-) that grape tree just wont stop growin! Lol

Ahh, makes sense now. Deep sand refugium/display. I like it!

I did deep sand eons ago, and once it took off it was cool to see the little worms in there.

That's what I was after is microfauna. It was going well but I think I may have added a type of snail that eats worms. :-( I've noticed a decline in the worm population. Pods are thriving though:-)
