Red Growth on Live rock

I have a red growth just on live rock. None on the sand bottom or aquarium glass. I change 10% of the water once a week with OR water. I don't think I'm over feeding, but could be. Could this cyanobacterial? Why would it just be on the live rock and no where else. Would it not grow in the bottom sand is I were over feeding? Could this be something other than Cyanobacteria?

Photos? usualy cyanobacteria will first grow on the rock and can spread to the sand.

Same problem cant seam to fight it, dont want to use chemicals

Not really, lowering lite time has helped so far

Does it blow off easily with a turkey baster? If not then I believe it may be Red Turf Algae. I did battle with this in my old 26g. It is easily removed if you allow it to grow some, just peels off.

I personally didn't use Turbos. Just pointing out the success others have had fighting this algae.
I took the rock out and scrubbed it clean.

My 20 year old fowler rocks were covered in it. H2O2 will flat take care of it IF you have a clean up crew.
