Red growths on torch coral

Just trying to figure out what these red growths are on this torch. They have gotten larger over the last few months. At first I noticed 2 spots and now there’s about 5.

I'm assuming they feel hard/solid, yes?

If so, my first thought would be Homotrema rubrum - a benthic foraminiferan and a harmless filter-feeder.

Do they blow off with a turkey baster? Or they are solid and attached?

How is the coral doing? Its very receded and unhappy.

They do not blow off. They’re hard and attached. I believe the coal is doing fine. That was the first time I’ve seen him that receded. Here is video of him this morning
