Red hair algae

Anyone know what this is called and which small critter eats it? Or how to otherwise kill it? Its kinda overrunning my tank and not super easy to rip out

Nothing will eat it once it's that long. Check out cleaner packages from reefcleaners.org and remove what you can during water changes.

Will normal snails touch it if it's short? Its not like I didn't have snails and an emerald crab in there.

I could raze it down by hand, but that would be pointless to do if I have no critters that will keep it short

Can you remove the rocks and scrub them outside the tank? If so, then after removing as much as you can, spray some H2O2 on the rock (avoiding and coral) and put back in the tank after a few minutes.

Is it actually pink?

If it's pink, it might be *cotton candy" algae. Here's some info on how to control it.
