Red hair worms or algae ? Any suggestions?

If I search for spaghetti worm in google, pictures come up of what are called spaghetti worms by me. some are red, gold, white, brown and green. They have been called that for 10 years or more.

I always figured saying spaghetti worm was like saying pods. It is actually a common name for several different kinds with a similar appearance to the eye.

It's sad how some people are so resistant to learning new information. Just because you were wrong (and I'm sorry, but "Google agrees with me" is not the power play you seem to think it is) doesn't mean you're stupid... but not accepting a marine biologist's explanation and doubling down on your incorrect definition might.

I am not a biologist and I have Parkinsons disease. It takes me a couple of tries to say what I am thinking.

I am also not used to having someone with their hair on fire after me.
