Red hairy hermit crab

I’m thinking about getting one have you guys ever owned one ? How are they or is it a bad idea

Red Hairy Hermits, Dardanus megistos, are really cool hermits but they get HUGE! I had one that had a leg spread of over 8"! It had losts of personality but was able to do a surprising amount of aquascaping on it's own and gleafully tore up stuff. If you get one itbest o keep in it's own system or fish only system. I wouldn't trust it in a reef system.
