Five weeks ago I bought a frag of RedHornetZoanthids with fifteen polyps. Since then, I havent noticed any growth, no new polyps have developed. So I'm a little worried, cause I dont want to loose a frag that is so expensive, and I want to see them covered some rocks. The zoas looks great, with excellent color and full polyp extension. They are under a Radion XR30w gen 2, and are getting around 115 to 130 PAR.

These are my water parameters:
Calcium: 420
Magnesium: 1320
dKH: 2.9
pH: 8.0
Density: 1.025
Temperature: 25.5 - 27.0 C

And for the past 7 weeks I've been using Reef Energy part A and B.

nothing is wrong. red hornets are just slow growers. lets say u fragged 2 polyps off and put them on a frag plug they will grow babies faster than the colony you got. idk why just happens.

As long as they're alive be happy. Don't worry about growth. It takes corals different times to acclimate to each tank. Once they get used to your tank they will start multiplying.

I had a 5p colony for years with no growth. Fragged one and got a few more. Just slow! But over any other zoa or paly still my favorite of all. Even oner my night fury and hallucinations!!
