Thats what i thought but i kow of a few people who have them, maybe the source has them cheaper like the MM. The ebay auctions went for 2k+ but if you contacted WWC or jason they could of been gotten for 1.5k.

these are sweet! but for 300 dollars, I would get a nice choice of other corals.
i'm sure these will be priced at 300 for awhile, since if I bought a coral for 300 I wouldn't want to sell it at a lower price. but since more variations are coming out, I wonder what other ones there could be.

That's petty crazy. I have a rock of these guys with about 200+ polyps. Have had them for about 3 years now. Not all develop a dark red skirt, some stay brown while others turn crimson. It's funny what a name will do for a coral sometimes.

i honestly dont think its the name that drives the coral as it sometimes might be true. The colors of the purple hornet series is pretty unique with the alternating skirt. They might not be the brightest thing in the tank, but they certainly are unique.
i think they are the same.
