Red Jawbreaker!! Taking off!!!

hi Reefers,

So I bought this red jawbreaker from pieces of the ocean. I bought it about 7 months ago and was the size of about a dime it has really started to grow like crazy like all my corals are just taking off in growth. This muchroom almost doubled in size over night ! My question is to make a mushroom a jawbreaker I should be seeing lines of colors coming in correct? Or are there mushrooms that can be called jawbreakers and remain one color? If not when should
I expect to see any color changes?? Here is a pic !

I am inclined to think Jaw Breakers have striations of different coloration to some degree.
