Red Macro Hitchhiker ID

I noticed this guy on one of my rocks. Its only about the size of a quarter right now.

What color is it under white lights? I have Ulva lactuca (also known as sea lettuce) which looks similar in structure, but mine is green.

Edit: I just found this with a google search: Halymenia porphyraeformis

I noticed this guy on one of my rocks. Its only about the size of a quarter right now.

Some kind of halymenia. If it's a little slimey to the touch it's probably a halymenia, there's loads of species so it's hard to ID without proper pics
