I've got a red algae in my DT that chooses to only grow on top of my Valonia. Wherever I see it, I know there's some bubble algae beneath it. Like the Valonia, my algae eaters (Tangs, Moorish Idol and urchins) choose to leave it alone. It is considerably easier to remove than the Valonia beneath it, as it tends to come off in one piece. My Globe Urchin frequently wears a piece of it as a hat. Anyone heard of this before and/or know the name of this algae?
