BOTRYOCLADIA SP. (Red Grape)
I was cleaning my rock last weekend and scrubbing it to get all of the green algae off of my rocks when I noticed several Botryocladia plants growing from my rock. Any ideas as to why I might be getting several growths of this plant? They are very pretty and I was wondering if I should keep them in my tank? Thoughts? :noidea:

Doesnt' take much to get this stuff to grow. I imagine it came in on your rock, and with a little bit of light, and good water, it will grow. Its one that can grow well in clean water.

Thanks for the thoughts, I think that I am going to keep it and let it grow because I am upgrading my tank anyway and I have always loved live plants in my tanks. I never seem to have luck with corals, so I may go the planted tank route we'll see. :pop2:

Right on. There are some pretty awesome looking plants to put in there.
