Red Mandarin?

I have a 1 year old 60 gal tank. I am seeing pods on the glass both day and night. I have some zoas, green star polyps, acans.
My other fish are a fox face, clown, royal gamma, pajama cardinal, bangai cardinal, blue tang.
Will I have any issues with bringing one in?

I wouldn't think so seems your tank is mature in a pod culture but it is always nyce to buy a mandarin that's trained to eat frozen I have 2 mandarins myself but they do not readily eat frozen I am not worried about ruining out of pods either my tank is well stocked

I'm stocking with pods first. I have a 55 with a deep sand bed. Have pods all over the glass at night but I'm adding 10k pods tomorrow. Waiting a month then adding a mandarin. That will keep him happy while I introduce frozen foods.

The tank is big enough and mature enough to support a mandarin and there are no pod competitors, so it should be fine.

60 gal + refugium to be safe I think would sustain a mandarin

You should be fine. Minimal competition for pods. I would recommend adding a refugium to your sump or tank. There are hang on back refugiums online. It will allow for a safe place for the pods to populate constantly. If will help ensure long time success if he were to deplete the pod population too quickly.

I have a 10 gal sump. The water flows in through a filter sock that to be honest usually just flows over the top and then travels to the pump where it goes back into the display. I have a canister filter as well, but no skimmer. At some point I want to add a skimmer and eventually some better lights, but dang this is expensive.
