Currently drip acclimating to quarentine tank. Fish store says its stress or other fish were picking on him. Extended my warranty from 48 to 72 hours. Better pictures below. Sure looks sick to me...

That's the beginning of a real nasty gram negative bacterial infection. I'd return that fish; or begin treatment immediately with Nitrofuracine Green Powder (NFG) or the trifecta of Furan2 + metro + kanaplex, ASAP. NFG works really well on those "red spots" that can turn into a full blown bacterial infection.

Stress may be what knocked the immune system down a bit. But this will not heal itself without antibiotics like @Big G mentioned above. Fish will likely be gone in 24 hours without.
