Red Monti

Hi guys my red monti has been in my tank for a few weeks now and it’s going pale. Now i’ve tested my alkalinity and it’s reading 2.86 Meq/L.

It’s at the bottom of the tank in the middle so exposed to lighting but not too intense i don’t think.

monti likes high light and high flow, it's normally placed at the top of the tank.

Agree. It needs a min of 150 but closer too 200 would be ideal and needs strong but not direct flow

Can’t get a hold of a par meter but i’ve moved it into higher flow and to the top of the tank just can’t enjoy its look at that height.

Moved it now hopefully it grows wel enough for me to enjoy its look as right now difficult angle in its new spot to look at its face from the front.
