Hello everyone, hope yall are having a great weekend. Can someone help me ID this red nudi looking thingy? Is it safe? It looks kinda cute. I dipped a coral and some of these squirmy wormies came out!

Thanks!

agree spaghetti worms, but the nudi,s :oops:poss zoa eating, did not happen to be red or orange zoas you dipped?

I only have 4 polyps of zoas and they are nowhere near it. The little red nudi was under my rainbow pectinia, doesn’t seem to be bothering anything as the pectinia was fully expanded (no receding tissue).

Hopefully this isn’t a terrible pic. Thanks!

i would keep qt post in critter id,make sure safe :) @KJ thanks:cool:

I agree with spaghetti worms, and nudi of some sort. Not 100%, but maybe a sea lettuce or sponge eating variety? Does it look like this?

It does look like this but it’s still so tiny so hard to tell exactly!

Will keep it in a little bowl and let it grow! Looks pretty cool :) Thanks for all the input everyone!

Look ad rhinophones (anthenas) has different coloration.

Most likely an Elysia species or Berthallina?
Could also be Vayssierea? I had some that were more reddish-orange and they eat spirorbid worms (tiny white spiral tube worms).

It’s Vayssierea! The frag plug of the pectinia did have spirorbid worms so maybe it was feeding on that! Thanks for the ID!
