Red oggo in algae reactor?

I want to setup an algae reactor on my 210g. I want to grow red oggo for the tangs. Can I growthe oggo in a reactor?

I don't see why not. Assuming you have a good light source. I think I would personally go with a full spectrum/white light over purple. In my limited, and in no way scientific haha, experience, I have had red algaes grow better under full spectrum lights.

Not sure if my reactor has red or full spectrum. Have not turned it on yet. But I also "feel" macro algea does better in full spectrum.
