I'm looking at getting a pound of this stuff to help out compete GHA for nutrients and also serve as a food source for my tangs.

I'm reading other threads that this stuff should be glued down or anchored into substrate. I have a BB tank and planned to place it all within an eggcrate box and place the eggcrate box on the back wall or side wall of my tank. Will this work alright?

Yes, you can also lightly tie fishing line around rubble which works very well and looks less intrusive.

Thanks for the tip!! I thought about a black eggcrate box only to keep 2 tangs from devouring it. I like the idea of the rubble though pending their rate of consumption!
