My algae is turning green even though it’s red do I take the green parts out or do I leave them in and reduce the light

Red ogo turning green

I’m new to macro algae, this is my first try with red ogo. Added maybe a week ago and it’s almost entirely green now. Too much or too little light?

Green can be lack of nutrients ( phosphate, nitrate, iron, iodine ect...) Lack of the proper light spectrum is also a big factor. You could try a led grow bulb from hardware store.
