Hi Volks.
I‘ve some trouble with my sps corals.
I guess I’ve Red or black bugs but I‘m not sure right now. You can‘t blow them off or anything. They don’t react of dipping with coral Rx. So I expect bugs. Can someone confirm that and help me to treat the pest?
Sorry for my Bad englisch :)

hope the video works.

Try using Bayer Advanced insecticide, if you can get it, instead of CoralRx.
The active ingredient you're looking for is imidacloprid.

They aren't redbugs, maybe black bugs? or just pods?
If you feel they are harming your coral
I'd yank all your crabs and shrimp and hit the whole tank with a few rounds of Interceptor/milbeycium oxime

Just my .02

Bayer Advanced and interceptor are booth not available in Germany :( hard to id what it really is. Corals loos their color and don’t show the Polyps as much.
Thanks for the reply’s

Do you get Dr Gs products in Germany?
Have you posted this in a local German forum? Germany is pretty much the birthplace of modern reefkeeping and to my knowledge is quite popular there. I would have surely have thought another german reefer knows how to get something that will work.
hit up cologne_corals on Instagram, he might know

Yes I allready did it and just talked to two guys which also had bug issues. One used Bayer Advanced and one has still problems. The bug problem is not that much known here that’s the thing why I ask you guys.

dr Gs is also not available :( I Allready looked for it, because I read that it also works as dip for the bugs.
Another Acro with this little suckers
