I currently have a ppw on my octo ext 160. I was thinking about going with the rpw. Does anyone have any first hand experience. Also I read that you may need a different venturi and some other part (maybe an end cap, not sure).

I've tested out every PW out there for the sicce except the red one. I just received the red one and venturi today and plan on testing it out tonight. For the 160 your going to be best to stick around 30ish scfh. If you put the rpw on there it could be to much flow and air for the body. Could cause micro's.

I've got the same skimmer on my 75 and added the WM pinwheel. So far so good! No startup issues, seems like I'm getting better foam production. I think it's a worthy upgrade for the money. It was a little noisy for a few days until it slimed up a bit.

Will do. I'll post it in my mini s thread. I'm getting 38scfh with the swc pw and reducer in 10" water so we'll see what the rpw does with the current reducer and then with its reducer. I'll swap them all around.

Sweet, I'll be looking forward to it. Thanks
I think I need to replace my current MW...it's been running the same mesh since I first got it...almost a year ago...:squigglemouth:

I posted the results i got in my mini s thread. Red PW = very nice, the best out there.

After a little more than a year my Sicce PSK 2500 pump of my SWC Xtreme 200 PS is having startup problems. I ordered the Warner Marine Red Demon that I understand is better than the stock pinwheel and should solve the startup problems. When you are talking about the Red pinwheel is the Red Demon or another pinwheel?

I am having start up issues so I thought the RPW may solve the problem. If I go with the RPW do I also need the reducer? Anything else?

If your magnet is still good the red pw should start up just fine. What are you using now impeller wise.
