Have seen these on my glass…but after really looking at my tank there are a decent amount, have noticed more since my yellow coris died-maybe im connecting dots that dont connect

but on my hairy mushrooms, ricordea mushrooms, some on base of toadstool

sucked off a bunch

You can siphon as many as you can with a 3/8" tubing into a nylon stocking and discard.
What will eat these:
Yellow coris wrasse
6 lined wrasse
lunare wrasse
Springieri damsel
Blue velvet Nudibranch

With this many, it is obvious you have eggs with tank likely uder coral and plugs. Those will need to be located and scraped off
Melanurus get large
 
Tank is 180g-so it should handle melanurus

yes on the sucking out with baster program

Over time should hopefully combat it

That’s a lot of baster sucking for a 180 gallon lol !! :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes: . I’d consider getting another yellow coris wrasse
 
I’ve never had a melanurus to say , but I do know yellow coris and six lines will eat them
