So came home to find this, looks like something at my red planet? Could this be my blue jaw? Or do I have some sort of pest?

Blue jaw is possible but keep a eye if you caught him in the act.
You might look during the lights out if you can spot something else.
It doesn't look like AEFW as they leave trails of bite marks.

I moved it in a different stop where I can keep a good eye on it. This thing is so furry from the polyp extension I could understand why it would look appetizing. If anything I see my flame angel going close to it over the trigger.

Put that trigger in the sump and you solved the problem.
Flames can go after the polyps but that will only benefit the SPS to grow in a more compact form.
I have had flames for years but it's just nipping.
Triggers with their teeth just get a chunk out of it.

I stayed up last night and watched everyone from a distance. The flame angel has been picking at all surfaces of the rock. The trigger hasn’t gone near everything. I just recently had a turbo snail spawn and I have millions of tiny snails everywhere which is probably why it’s picking at everything. My six line is also picking away. I moved the red planet in a spot where flow will annoying the trigger so I think we will try this.
