I have always wondered how to get that kind of polyp extention. I have only had it on one tank which was small and several years old with no filtration other than water changes. I wonder if it is related to stable high nitrates and phosphates that make the polyps thiker and longer?

1300 ish Mag
N/p no idea anymore best left alone however the tank naturally balances

If I had to guess, I would say I have stable 5-20ppm Nitrate and .1 to .2 phosphate

Flow is not super strong as this is a mixed reef, I run 3 OW-40's (elise mode) and have 4 return nozzles(dct-12000 @100%)

Reefbreeders V2's with 2 80watt B+ T5's

popping some shoots out, still looking fuzzy as ever.. only problem is that those branches need to come out the other side.. its just going to run into my rock work was hoping it would table the other direction... may have to do some pruning

Looks awesome and I have a similar frag that looks the same as your first picture. Although it hasn’t grown at all. It has stayed alive though so that’s good.

No they are not the same dates, sorry will include dates on future posts. First Picture was 12/12/18 and the last pic was on 01/25/19

General dates are just perfect. Trying to compare my no growth to your growth. In a couple months that’s what I “should” see.
