Just took a look at the tank and found my red plate not looking so hot. Looks like it has expelled all of its guts, white streamers all over it, tentacles receeded, pale looking. Last night, I fed it, looked normal. Is this early stages of it dieing off like I've seen in other posts. Thoughts, I can't get a pick becuase of the lights, camera doesnt like them. Any input, thanks

When I get home from dinner I'll flick the highs on and take a pic, I'm just wondering if this is a normal process of dieing off and then sprouting some little ones like I've seen in other cases. It resembles a coral that has been stung, it's rigid on top but the flesh is still inflated aroun the edges, pale white as a ghost. Scratching the head on this one, nothing is close enough to sting it, it has a lot of real estate.

How long has it looked like this last pic?

Don't look.like it's dieing to me but hey if it does you might have lots of red plates and they are not cheap might be a good thing imo

I may have been quick to react, the flesh and mucous just kept coming off through the night, next morning, tentacles were about halfway out and as the day went on, it started becoming more and more puffy, flesh started to inflate. I will check again today after work, but this is the weirdest thing I've ever seen, almost like it shed a layer of skin off.
