Red/purple algae?

Found this guy sprouting out of one of my zoa. Any way to tell if it's good vs bad? I definitely wanna remove it from the zoa, since the polyp it's attached to is "recoiling" from it and doesn't seem to like it. But if it's generally a "good" algae, I'll just relocate it elsewhere in the DT (rather than just throw it away).

Bumping with a new pic. I'd love to keep this thing - it's getting really pretty. But if it's a pest that's gonna grow out of control, I'd rather catch it now than later.

Maybe it's some kind of Gracilaria? Just googling around trying to find something that looks like it.

I transplanted it elsewhere in the tank for now. Got a much better picture now. Any ideas on an ID?

Closest on that chart is probably Asparagopsis Sp. It's got really fine feathery structure, but also a larger branching structure.
