Been getting red slime in my tank lately. It grows in low and high flow areas. I did a chemiclean treatment two weeks ago and then lights out for two days and that worked for about a week. The tank is 4 months old. I do weekly 10% water changes, 0 TDS RODI water, and all parameters in check.

Most of my coral is fine but it grows on the zoas, which causes them to not open up. I'm currently running chemipure elite, chemipure blue (about two weeks old) and a protein skimmer. I feed a few pellets twice a day. I have experience with nuisance algae but can't seem to figure this one out. Looking for some tips..

Thanks

I feel your pain, check your nutrient levels. Phosphates are not your friend.
