Red rim in sps?

Recently a red outline has shown up on the tip of some of the branches of one of my sps colonies, I am not sure if it is apart of the coral branch or the polyp. Has anyone seen this before?

probably not.

but if you covered your entire tank with latex... you might have a winner

its diffraction, not sure why its red but have seen it lots of times on polyp edges and sps tips.
