Ok so since it's been getting warmer I'm running into the dilemma that now my RO/DI stored water is sitting around 79 degrees.
I wanted to do a water change but I usually mix the salt around 70°F and the raise the temperature.

Can I mix the salt in with the water being at 79°F, or the mix is gonna precipitate ?

I always followed the instructions and mixed it around 70°F then raised the temp to match my tank but that day was quite hot so the water was already reading almost 79°F before I got to do the mix

I'd try to keep the temp down. Red Sea has a video showing that, at least when they do it (not always) mixing too long in a way that gets it warm leads to precipitation.

Yea, I've seen that video a while back.
I didnt have an option as my rodi yank sits in the back room of the house and that room it's not quite insulated
Not a really big issue in the winter as I can warm the water up but now in the summer it's going to be a hassle.
