I own an ancient Red Sea 130-D. I've replaced nearly every part but the protein skimmer. This is a slight problem though, because it is the worst skimmer anyone I've talked to has ever seen. I have to nearly overflow the tank to get the bubbles to reach the right height (assuming they aren't fluctuating) and over the past few weeks it's collected next to nothing. I change my water frequently so it as of now has been pretty smooth. Do I need to replace the part? How soon? Has anyone had a Red Sea with this same problem?
