Red Sea 130d skimmer advice

I have tried the tunze 9001 I think [emoji848] and it’s not really working well. It has been a huge [emoji90] while cleaning it I noticed the insulation on the power cord is starting to micro crack. So I’m pulling it out of service. Does anyone have any advice on a alternative skimmer?

Deltec mce500 fits really snug, you will need to remove the glas strips holding the original skimmer inside but then you have the best skimmer!
