Does anyone have experience hard piping to a DC pump with red sea tanks. I see people doing it but not a huge amount of info. I'm looking into getting something to run through my apex. Possibly the Neptune return pump (open to suggestions) it looks like people in a not so perfect way convert metric to standard with alot of thread tape. Looking for info from anyone who has converted from stab to hard plumbing. TIA

Adaptive Reef makes metric to standard couplers. These are available on BRS. They work very well.

Have a picture of what you did?
You would ask, wouldn't you, lol. My pump is currently hidden under the RO reservoir in my sump, but here's a close example of what someone else did. Essentially the same idea - although my return plumbing extends down quite a bit more. Basically I found a hose diameter that fit the Red Sea barb on the return plumbing and the barb on on my Sicce SDC 9 pump, then used 3 plastic zip ties to ensure the sucker wasn't going anywhere. Zip ties are a must.
