Red sea 250 ato

Hey reefers, I'm still getting used to owning my new rsr250 and am quickly figuring out that the built in ato isn't that great... woke up this morning to my skimmer going nuts and half of the ato reservoir dumped into the sump... tanks only a month old so I can't image its sticking due to salt buildup.. has anyone changed theres out and if so what did you use

Oh yea. The Red Sea ato are terrible. And super small. You would be filling it every other day. I have 2 separate types on different tanks. The container can literally be anything that holds water if you won’t want to fork out the coin for the reservoir.

G’day I have a rsr250 and I have had nothing but trouble with it, I found it would get blocked up once per 2-4 weeks. I changed it out to a tunze nano ato with a 30l water container from hardware now I have more room in sump and I top up water container every 7-10 days.
