Hello! I need help deciding if I should get the redsea nano max 26g peninsula or the waterbox 25g peninsula. My worries are that the redsea isn't worth 1149 since I have an ap700 and a ton of equipment already. My only issue with the waterbox is that they don't sell a stand. My wife and I moved to an apartment so we sold our wood working tools and don't really want to worry about building a stand this is the main reason I have the redsea in the number 1 spot. Also the redsea tanks that are failing are bit worrisome. What tank would you choose?

I broke down my waterbox 110 so I have a ton of equipment that I can use. The only thing that won't work is my skimmer since it won't fit lol

For non - AIO tanks, Waterbox all day long.
For AIO's - I would never buy another Waterbox AIO again. the all glass backglass wall is nothing but issues. No ability to alter to increase flow which leads to constantly needing to change the filter sock / floss to keep your ATO from going crazy. The sump area is just poorly designed which is a shame as the tanks are very nice.

I’d go Red Sea Max Nano all day long for an AIO- all the equipment is tailor made for that tank; and it looks great together; and as you say- you get a stand with this tank!

I have a Max Nano running a an anemone tank in my office and i love everything about it!

If you can live with the slightly “wonky” look you will have from using some of your current equipment, sourcing a matching cabinet etc. then i do not believe the Waterbox is of a worse quality than the Red Sea ;)

The Max Nano is ‘Plug and Play’..

Awesome thank you both for the feedback! I was getting a bit nervous about the silicone issues. Do yall think it will leak eventually?

I think any tank has the potential to leak. I highly doubt there's some issue with all red sea tanks leaking however.
Most likely you were just reading reports of a bad batch.
