I'm thinking of going back to a larger tank after having an Innovative marine 50 gallon lagoon for about 6 months. I'm considering the Red Sea 425 xl. Does anyone have any experience with this tank or Red Sea in general? Here is a quick shot of my current tank. I miss the larger tanks.

Reefer 350 is a 73g display. The XL versions have better dimensions because of more width.

i have a Reefer 450 but would go to the 525xl if i could. my 450 is perfect and i love it- i just want more space. typical reefer syndrome.

Yeah, I saw the 425 xl and 525 xl in person yesterday. They are about the same dimensions length and height wise. The 425 is 47 inches wide and the 525 is about 59 inches wide. I'm leaning towards the 425 for a more manageable size.

Correction: same width and height wise. The difference is the length

I have a 525 XL and love it! Check out my build thread if you want some picts

Ive got the 525xL - easily one of the nicest tanks Ive ever owned. If you are looking for information specific to the Red Sea 425xL, I suggest checking out @Broadfield Red Sea Reefer Show Off and Discuss thread. Lots of great information and TON of people's experiences with their tanks. Completely worth the read, and you'll get exposed to a lot of people's individual tank threads too.
