Red Sea 450 refugium??

Anybody here familiar with the Red Sea reefer 450 sump set up? Trying to come up with refugium ideas, besides the ato tank method. Thinking about just sectioning off my protein skimmer with egg crate and making the rest of the space into a fuge. Do you guys have any idea is this will work or not???

Have you considered a chaeto reactor instead?

I bought one a week ago.

I have a smaller Red Sea Reefer myself and the problem of setting a fuge up was probably harder. In the end I cleaned my attempts out and went for this chaeto reactor.

I have seen good results from my water tests and chaeto growth already and I will update my thread tomorrow in more detail.
