Red Sea 525xl plumbing help

Hello,

I’m in the process of setting up a Red Sea 525xl tank and not sure what plumbing I need. The tank only came with the 3 plumbing parts, (Return pipe and 2 Drain pipes). See image below.

What I’m missing is the part that is in Red circles in the 2nd image. My question is, what fitting am I missing and where can I buy them?

Are you looking for just fittings that work (so you can use DIY parts)? Or are you looking for the OEM parts like the full valve downpipe?

'Marine and Reef' will have the OEM parts. (for example red sea part #42216 & #42217)

I think BRS sells generic fittings that will convert to standard PVC sizes.

Thanks for the reply. I’m just looking for the correct fittings for DIY parts. Not looking at the full valve down pipe. Not sure what size fittings I need? I measured the ID of the downward pipes and they are 1.5”. Do I get 1.5” unions?
