Esteemed Colleagues,

I am trying to find a way to get a refugium for my 625 G2.

I saw people buying plexiglass and drilling into it and placing that into the overflow part of the sump. I am not 100% sure how good this method is due to the big divider there is between the overflow and skimmer chambers having levelling slits. Trying to have the refugium in the skimmer chamber would mean moving the skimmer towards the return section and getting a divider for that corner. I feel like this would be even more awkward then the overflow chamber.

Another option is turning the reservoir that came with the aquarium into a refugium which seems like even more work since I still cannot see a way of doing it without two small pumps and an optional powerhead which can be foregone if the sump to refugium pump's piping has a flow regulator at the end of it. I am sure there is a better way to do this and I would love to hear about it.

How would you guys approach this project?
